Leadership with Children and Youth
Work with children and youth is key to transformed lives—both the lives of the young people and those who work with them. We have many levels of involvement, but kids know commitment when they see it—and this will determine whether they develop commitment themselves. Are you called to this committed work?
(Please note that all who work with children or youth, must take a course on child safety and undergo background checks.)
Here are a few opportunities:
Sunday Teen Program Work with Teens during the sermon to engage and grow in the Gospel while building relationships. Click on Teen Work
Youth Center where you may work with Tweens and Teens, building character along with sharing knowledge that makes learning easy. You may assist in this once, once a week, for several weeks–and work on a project that is important to you. For more information, click on Youth Center
Children’s Sunday School provides many opportunities for you to work with kids of different ages, sharing your experience of God and helping them to allow the Holy Spirit to form them into strong Christians. We need volunteers to assist the teachers and nursery staff, every week. To volunteer, please click on Children’s Sunday School.
Nursery is where we provide safe and positive care for children up to age 4 on Sunday mornings and for other events. To volunteer, please click on Children’s Sunday School, for more information.
