HUMC Member Covenant
We Covenant

1. To be Church by
2. Experiencing together the love and praise of God,
3. As we
4. Intentionally form disciples of all members,
5. Who shall be committed to Christ and the Church,
6. To receive the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit,
7. Through the means of grace, which include both:
8. Inner spiritual development and discipline, and
9. Outward service, resources and witness,
10. That produces the fruit of the Spirit,
11. In living, thinking, feeling and doing the good, and
12. Avoiding and working against known evils, as we
13. Engage in relevant ways with our cultural context,
14. To spread the love of God and scriptural holiness,
15. For the glory of God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
